Therapeutic Exercise



Our office is concerned with your well being and healthcare. Exercise benefits the Chiropractic patient when combined with chiropractic care.  Aerobic exercise helps promote proper digestion, keeps the muscles in proper tone and promotes better circulation. Walking briskly around the block at least once or twice is a convenient and popular activity. Pilates, core strength training and Yoga have become wonderful additions to help the spine  along with regular Chiropractic care.

Also, many forms of work, household tasks can function as an exercise program.

The important point is to move!

Our office does suggest certain programs to help the muscles around the spine stabilize and strenghten. Dr. Wikoff and the therapy staff will create a program when you are out of the acute stage and ready for movement and strengthening. We gear the program for your posture and spinal curvature, as well as strengthening and stabilizing your spine. We use an online program called WebMD, and as part of your treatment plan we will create an exercise and strengthening program tailored just for you.
